38. Remove the lower liftgate trim by working your way
from one end to the other and popping out the
mounting pins with your hands. (Figure 35)

39. Remove the two nuts fastening the rear wiper motor
to the liftgate using a 10mm open-end wrench and
flat head screwdriver. Disconnect wiper motor wiring
harness by pulling the connector out of the motor
with your fingers. (Figure 36)

40. Close the liftgate and remove the wiper nut using a
10mm socket. (Figure 37)

41. Remove the wiper and disconnect the washer fluid
line from the vehicle. (Figure 38)

42. Remove wiper motor exterior nut using a 28mm
socket and then remove wiper motor from inside the
liftgate. (Figure 39)
