Bluetooth Module
The operating system’s Bluetooth Devices control
panel is used to configure the Bluetooth settings in
Windows XP, and therefore does not require a driver.
Use the Fn + F12 key combination (see
Keys & Visual Indicators” on page D - 9
) or the On-
Screen Menu button to toggle power to the Bluetooth
module.
Wireless Device Operation Aboard Aircraft
The use of any portable electronic transmission devices
aboard aircraft is usually prohibited. Make sure the module(s)
are OFF if you are using the computer aboard aircraft.
Wireless LAN, Bluetooth & 3.5G Modules Power Toggle
Enable power to the modules as follows:
Fn + F11 = Wireless LAN Module Power Toggle
Fn + F12 = Bluetooth Module Power Toggle
Fn + _
= 3.5G Module Power Toggle
Alternatively, you can use the appropriate On-Screen Menu
button to toggle power to the module.
The LED indicator
will be green if the WLAN module is
on, and orange if the Bluetooth module is on. The LED indica-
tor
will be green if the 3.5G module is on.
Bluetooth Data Transfer
Note that transferring data between the computer and a
Bluetooth enabled device is supported in one direction
only (simultaneous data transfer is not supported).
Therefore if you are copying a file from your computer to
a Bluetooth enabled device, you will not be able to copy
a file from the Bluetooth enabled device to your comput-
er until the file transfer process from the computer has
been completed.
