Failure to remove the IR sensor or O2 sensor (if
equipped) during the moist heat
decontamination cycle will damage the
sensor(s).
You are then prompted to remove the IR CO2 sensor. Follow the instructions below to
remove the IR sensor.
Remove the two thumbscrews and lower the top air duct from inside the incubator as
shown below:
Disconnect the cable from the CO2 sensor by rotating the connector counter clockwise
and store the sensor in a safe place until it can be replaced following the decon cycle.
If the incubator is equipped with an O2 sensor, remove the four screws that hold the O2
sensor in place. Replace the sensor plate with the blank sensor plate provided with the
incubator.
Replace the top air duct, close the inner and outer doors, and press ENTER on the
control panel.
