10 Transport, storage and disposal
10.1 Storage
10.2 Decontamination before shipment
If you are shipping the device to the authorized Technical Service for repairs or to your
authorized dealer for disposal please note the following:
10.3 Transport
Carry out the following steps before transport:
1. Dismantle the module unit before transport.
2. Attach the supplied transport securing devices according to the red supplement sheet.
3. Only use original packaging for transport.

WARNING! Risk to health from contaminated device
1. Please observe the information in the decontamination certificate, which is
available as a PDF file on our webpage (www.eppendorf.com/
decontamination).
2. Decontaminate all the parts you would like to dispatch.
3. Include the fully completed decontamination certificate in the package.
NOTICE! Damage to the control board as a result of incorrect handling.

Grasp the control board on the housing.

Do not lift the control board using the joystick.

Never place the control board on the joystick.
