3/4” LED MARKER LAMP INSTALL NOTES
This high quality DOT-approved LED lamp
is designed to provide years of trouble-free
performance.
PARTS LIST
Please check your packages immediately upon
arrival to ensure that everything listed is included,
and to check for damage during shipping. If
anything is missing or damaged, call Poison

INSTALLATION NOTES
1. This item is not a direct “plug and play” item.
Installation requires a basic understanding
and skillset of automotive wiring. The installer
may need to use a test light or multimeter
to identify the correct wires in the vehicle’s
wiring harness to tap into in order to power
this lamp. If this is beyond your skills, please
seek the help of someone more experienced
with automotive wiring.
2. On the 2-Wire version, there are two wires
on the lamp pigtail. The BLACK wire is
POSITIVE. The WHITE wire is NEGATIVE.
Be sure to make your connections
appropriately. The 2-wire LED may be used
as either a marker lamp (running light) or as
a turn signal, but not as both simultaneously.
3. On the 3-Wire version, there are three
wires on the lamp pigtail. The BLACK wire is
POSITIVE for the marker lamp function. The
RED wire is POSITIVE for the turn signal
function. The WHITE wire is NEGATIVE, or
ground. Be sure to make your connections
appropriately. The 3-wire LED may be used
as both a marker lamp and a turn signal
simultaneously.
4. We recommend using female bullet
connectors (not included) to connect to the
male bullet connectors already existing on
the pigtail (2-wire version only). Alternatively
you may cut the existing bullet connectors
off of the pigtail to use the connector type
of your choice. The 3-wire version does not
come with pre-installed connectors so you
will have to supply and use connectors of
your choice.
5. DO NOT cut off the fat “pill” section of the
pigtail (3-wire version only). The components
housed inside it are necessary for proper
function of the LED lamp.
6. Many Poison Spyder products such as
Crusher Flares™ and DeFenders™ come
with a 3/4” mounting hole already cut into
them, intended for mounting this lamp.
7. If installing into a blank panel or location
without an existing hole, use a 3/4” hole
saw, step drill, or Greenlee punch to create a
suitable hole.
8. Installing the lamp into the 3/4” hole is
easiest by first slipping the pigtail through the
grommet, then through the hole. Next, push
the grommet into place in the hole, followed
by pushing the lamp into the grommet. A
small amount of soapy water may help
lubricate the components during installation.
