ROLLER FAIRLEAD LIGHT MOUNT INSTALL
The Poison Spyder Customs Roller Fairlead
Light Mount is a simple way to add two auxiliary
lights to most off-road vehicles equipped with
roller-type winch fairleads. This mount is
designed to work with most Warn and late model
Ramsey roller fairleads, and will also work with
many other brands.
Installation is fairly simple with the right tools
and good mechanical abilities. If you are not
confident in your mechanical skills, please
seek the help of a professional to perform the
installation. Please read through these entire
instructions before proceeding with installation.
PARTS LIST
(1) Roller Fairlead Light Mount
(2) 3/8-16 X 1 SS button head cap screw
(2) 3/8-16 nylon insert lock nut
TOOLS NEEDED
• Fine-tip felt marker
• Center punch and hammer
• Drill motor with 3/8” drill bit
• 7/32” hex key socket and ratchet
• 9/16” combination end wrench
• Torque wrench
INSTALLATION PROcEDURE
1. Place the Roller Fairlead Light Mount on
top of the roller fairlead and check for any
clearance issues. Use the fine-tip felt marker
to mark the two 3/8” hole locations in the top
flange of the fairlead, using the Fairlead Light
Mount as the template.
2. Remove the bracket and set it aside. Use
a center punch and hammer to punch the
centers of each of the hole marks made in
Step 1. Drill each of these holes with the 3/8”
drill bit.
3. Use the supplied stainless steel button
head cap screws and lock nuts to fasten
the Roller Fairlead Light Mount to the roller
fairlead. Make sure the button head is on
top, with the lock nut underneath (inside) the
top flange of the roller fairlead. Torque to 15
ft.-lbs.
4. Install your auxiliary lights to the mounting
holes in Roller Fairlead Light Mount, and wire
according to the instructions for your lights.
WaRRaNTY
Poison Spyder Customs™ warranties all of the
products we sell and distribute for one (1) year
from the date of sale. These products will be
free from defects in material and workmanship
under normal installation, and use. Due to the
intended use the powder coat finish is warranted
for ninety (90) days. The finish warranty will not
cover a product if it has been damaged in any
way. Warranty is limited to repair or replacement.
Poison Spyder Customs™ does not offer any
type of labor or shipping allowance and all
warranty claims are subject to inspection by
Poison Spyder Customs™.
At the discretion of Poison Spyder Customs™,
the products in question can be repaired or
replaced when found defective. Prior to any
replacement or repair, written authorization must
be obtained from Poison Spyder Customs™.
