•
Convert the serger from Overlock to Cover Stitch using the directions on
page__ in the Instruction Manual or on the Quick Reference card. Insert the
Center and Right Needles and turn the Stitch Selection Dial to “F”.
•
Following the instructions on page ___ of your Instruction Manual, thread the
serger for a 3-Thread narrow (2.5mm) Cover Stitch.
•
Use a Fabric Stiffener or Spray Starch to stabilize the fabric and lace.
•
Position the lace on the right side of the fabric with the scalloped edge of the
lace even with the right edge of the fabric.
•
Place fabric and lace under the Needles with the lace header positioned even
with the inside edge of the Left Floating Toe.
•
Cover Stitch the lace to the fabric stopping with the Needles in the fabric.
•
Turn the Handwheel away form you to raise the Needles to their highest position.
•
Lift the Presser Foot and remove the fabric from under the Presser Foot.
•
Trim the fabric from beneath the lace and mount the sample.
