Serger Library – Tips and Tricks
• Using the Small Screwdriver and Brush/Needle Inserter, remove the Center
Needle.
• Snug the Needle Set Screw after removing the Needle.
• Following the diagrams on page ____ in the Instruction Manual, thread the
serger for a 3-thread wide Overlock stitch.
• Turn the Stitch Selection Dial to “A” on the Stitch Display Panel.
• Adjust Cutting Width to 2 (normal).
• Adjust Stitch Length to 2.5 (normal).
• Fold the fabric in half to 2 ½” X 6”.
• Serge along the folded edge of the fabric.
• Trim and mount the sample.
FABRIC: Medium weight fabric 5” X 6”
NEEDLES: 80/12 Universal
THREAD: 3 cones of serger thread
