•
Thread the serger for a 3-thread Overlock stitch using the Left Needle.
Use the Jeans Stitch
in the Upper Looper.
•
Turn the Stitch Selection Dial to “D” on the Stitch Display Panel.
•
Adjust the Stitch Length to 3. (You can shorten the Stitch Length slightly to fill in the
stitch as you serge.)
•
Attach the Right Hand Seam Guide and adjust it so that the guide is halfway between
the Left Needle and the right edge of the Stitch Finger.
•
Fold the fabric in half, wrong sides together, to 2” X 6”.
•
Place the fold under the Presser Foot and against the Right Hand Seam Guide.
•
Slowly serge the fabric. The Looper threads will extend beyond the fabric on the
right side of the fold.
•
Pull the fabric flat. If it does not lay flat, move the Right Hand Seam Guide towards
the Left Needle and try again.
•
Press, trim and mount the sample.
