5mm COVER STITCH

• Convert the serger from Overlock to Cover Stitch using the directions on
page__ in the Instruction Manual or on the Quick Reference card.
• Insert the Left and Right Needles.
• Turn the Stitch Selection Dial to “F”.
• Following the instructions on page ___ of your Instruction Manual, thread the
serger for a 3-Thread wide (5mm) Cover Stitch.
• Place the fabric under the Needles with the fabric centered under the Presser
Foot.
• Cover Stitch the length of the fabric stopping with the Needles in the fabric.
• Turn the Handwheel away from you to raise the Needles to their highest position.
• Lift the Presser Foot and remove the fabric from under the Presser Foot.
• Trim and mount the sample.
FABRIC: Medium weight cotton denim 3” X 6”
NEEDLES: 90/14 universal
THREAD: 3 cones of serger thread
PRESSER FOOT: Cover Stitch or Standard
