4-THREAD COVER STITCH

• Convert the serger from Overlock to Cover Stitch using the directions on
page__ in the Instruction Manual or on the Quick Reference Card. and turn
the Stitch Selection Dial to “F”.
• Following the instructions on page ___ of your Instruction Manual thread the
serger for a 4-Thread Cover Stitch.
• Center the fabric under the Presser Foot.
• Cover Stitch the length of the fabric. Stop stitching with the Needles in the
fabric.
• Turn the Handwheel away from you to raise the Needles to their highest
position.
• Lift the Presser Foot and remove the fabric from under the Presser Foot.
• Following the directions on page___ in the Instruction manual, remove the stitch.
• Place the fabric under the Presser Foot and Cover Stitch the length of the
fabric again.
• Following the directions on page___ in the Instruction manual, secure the thread
tail.
• Trim and mount the sample.
FABRIC: Medium weight cotton 3” X 6”
NEEDLES: 80/12 universal
THREAD: 4 cones of serger thread
(yellow, green, brown, purple)
PRESSER FOOT: Cover Stitch or Standard
