Serger Library – Additions
• Thread the serger for a 3-thread Overlock stitch using the Center Needle.
• Turn the Stitch Selection Dial to “A” on the Stitch Display Panel.
• Pull the Stitch Selection Lever/Rolled Hem towards you.
• Adjust the Stitch Length to 1.5.
• Attach the Blind Stitch Foot.
• Move the Fabric Guide just to the left of the Knife Line on the Stitch Plate.
• Stiffen the batiste with Spray Starch or a Fabric Stiffener.
• Mark 3 lines 1” apart the length of the fabric.
• Fold the fabric along a marked line and place the fabric under the Presser Foot
so that the fold is against the Fabric Guide. Serge the tucks.
• Return the Stitch Selection Lever/Rolled Hem to the normal sewing position
(away from you).
• Trim and mount the sample.
FABRIC: Batiste 3½” X 6”
NEEDLES: 70/10 Sharp or Microtex
THREAD: 3 cones of Isacord thread
