Instruction Manual for Elasticator Attachment
• Attach the Upper Looper Converter.
• Following the instructions on page ___ of your Instruction Manual thread the serger
for a Super Stretch Stitch using the Left and Center Needles. Use Woolly Nylon in
the Lower Looper.
• Turn the Stitch Selection Dial to “B”.
• Adjust Stitch Length to 4.
• Adjust the Presser Foot Presser Lever to “H” (increase).
• Attach the Elasticator Foot.
• Following the instructions in the Instruction Manual for Elasticator Attachment, thread
the elastic through the Presser Foot and adjust the Set Screw on the Roller Guide.
• Place the fabric under the Presser Foot and serge attaching the elastic as you sew.
• Trim and mount the sample.
FABRIC: Cotton or nylon Lycra 3” X 6”
12” of ½” nylon or cotton braid elastic
NEEDLES: 80/12 stretch or 11/75 ballpoint
THREAD: 2 cones of serger thread (Needles)
1 cone of Woolly Nylon (Lower Looper)
PRESSER FOOT: Elasticator Foot
