Simply Serging
•
Attach the Upper Looper Converter.
•
Turn the Stitch Selection Dial to “E”.
•
Following the instructions on page ___ of the Instruction Manual thread the
serger for a 2-thread Flatlock Stitch using the Left Needle. Use Jeans Stitch
in the Lower Looper.
•
Adjust Stitch Length for 2.5.
•
Attach the Right Hand Seam Guide and position the guide halfway between the
Left Needle and the Stitch Finger.
•
Fold the fabric in half to 2” X 6”.
•
Place the fabric under the Presser Foot and against the Right Hand Seam Guide.
•
Serge along the fold. The Looper threads should loop off the edge of the fold.
•
Pull the fabric flat. If the fabric doesn’t lay flat, move the guide closer to the
Left Needle and try again.
•
Press, trim and mount the sample.
