Entering the Addresses Directly
“Direct input” refers to the operation of directly inputting the destination ad-
dress from the machine’s control panel.
Up to five destinations can be specified through direct input.
The following procedure describes how to directly specify an address.

Press the [Scan] key on the control panel.
The Scan mode screen appears.

Touch [Direct Input], then [Scan to FTP].
–
To access an FTP server anonymously, touch [Anonymous] in the
screen where the user name is entered.
A screen for entering the destination host name, destination folder, and
other information appears.

Why is the Direct Input tab not displayed?
% If the [Manual Destination Input] on the Security Details screen (dis-
played by touching [Security Setting] on the Administrator Setting
screen) is set to [Restrict], the Direct Input tab does not appear.
