Command

Description

IP STATUS

Provides information about the current NetLinx IP Connections.
Example:

>IP STATUS
NetLinx IP Connections
No active IP connections

IPSEC ON|OFF|STATUS

Enables/Disables IPSec security or displays current setting.

MEM

Displays the largest free block of the Master’s memory.
Example:

>MEM
The largest free block of memory is 11442776 bytes.

MSG ON|OFF

Enables/Disables extended diagnostic messages.
• MSG On sets the terminal program to display all messages

generated by the Master.

• MSG OFF disables the display.
Example:

> MSG ON
Extended diagnostic information messages turned on.
> MSG OFF
Extended diagnostic information messages turned off.

OFF [D:P:S or NAME,CHAN]

Turns off a specified channel on a device. The device can be on any
system that the Master you are connected to is able to reach.
You can specify the device number, port, and system, or the name of
the device that is defined in the DEFINE_DEVICE section of the pro-
gram.
Syntax:

OFF[name,channel]

-or-

OFF[D:P:S,channel]

Example:

>OFF[5001:7:4]
Sending Off[5001:7:4]

ON [D:P:S or NAME,CHAN]

Turns on a specified channel on a device. The device can be on any
system that the Master you are connected to is able to reach.
You can specify the device number, port, and system, or the name of
the device that is defined in the DEFINE_DEVICE section of the pro-
gram.
Syntax:

ON[name,channel]

-or-

ON[D:P:S,channel]

Example:

>ON[5001:7:4]
Sending On[5001:7:4]
