Predictive Text
The Predictive Text option provides next-letter prediction and
regional error correction, which compensates for touching
the wrong keys on the QWERTY keyboard. Predictive text is
turned on by default.
1. Touch and hold Options on the keyboard, then
touch Settings . The Samsung keyboard settings
screen displays.
2. Touch the OFF/ON button to turn Predictive text
ON .
3. While entering characters, potential word matches
display in the Predictive text area above the keyboard.
Touch a word to insert it into your text.
Note: Predictive Text mode is available for landscape or
portrait orientation.
Entering Text Using Handwriting
You can enter text simply by using your finger to handwrite
letters on your screen.
1. From the keyboard, touch and hold Options on the
keyboard and then touch .
The handwriting pad displays.
2. Use your finger tip to write out each character. You can
print or use cursive.
3. You can write out your entire message using the
Handwriting feature or touch to switch back to
Samsung keyboard mode.
