Add a Contact
You can add contacts directly from the Contacts application. Enter details such as name, phone
numbers, email addresses, mailing addresses, and more.
1. Press and tap Contacts.
2. Tap , and then choose a storage account, if you have accounts set up on your
phone.
3. Touch contact fields to enter information. While entering information, tap to add
another field, and tap to choose a label.
 Tap and assign an image to the new entry. You can choose a picture from
Gallery, including tagged pictures, take a new picture with Camera, or use a memo
from S Memo.
 Name field: Use the onscreen keyboard to enter the name.
 Phone number field: Enter a phone number.
 Email address: Enter an email address.
 Groups: Assign the contact to a group.
 Ringtone: Choose a ringtone to play for calls from the contact.
 Message alert: Choose a ringtone to play for new messages from the contact.
 Vibration pattern: Choose a vibration to play for new calls or messages from the
contact.
 Add another field: Add new field(s) for the contact.
4. Tap Save to save the new contact.
