Adding an Unmanaged Device
For devices that do not have direct power monitoring via IPMI or another protocol, select
Unmanaged server, Unmanaged network device, or Unmanaged storage device.
This will create a place holder in the Device list that can be added to rack elevations to
account for the U space and power used by the device.
In order to account for power use for an unmanaged device, you can assign a specific
power use value for the device or associate the device with monitored outlets on a
monitored PDU to measure power use of the device.
