Select a row and click + in the Rack column to add a rack in the row. Specify the name
of the rack in the popup dialog, configure the capacity (the number of U spaces) and
total power capacity. Total power capacity is aggregated for racks in rows, rooms, etc.
NOTE
Name and Total Power Capacity are mandatory when adding a rack.
NOTE
Check the box “PDU Power as Rack Power” if you want to use the power reading
from the PDU(s) in the rack as the IT equipment power of the rack. Otherwise, power
for the rack will be the sum of power for all equipment in the rack. The sum will
include any estimated power values on unmanaged devices (devices that are not
monitored). Click OK to add the rack.
Adding Devices
Select a rack and click + in the Device column.
