Select the protocol type from the drop-down list (IPMI, SNMPv1v2c, SNMPv3, WS-MAN,
SSH, and INBAND_PROTOCOL), and input the IP range. The IPMI protocol is used for
direct server monitoring. The SNMPv1v2c protocol is used for PDU monitoring. The
default Subnet Mask is 255.255.255.0. You may provide some additional information
based on the Protocol type you choose.
NOTE
The first two bytes of the First Address a nd th e Last Address must be the same.
Click OK to run the discovery task.
The task will run, showing progress as a green bar with percentage complete. Any
devices that are discovered are added to your Device List.
Once complete, you can run the task in the future by clicking the arrow or delete the task
by clicking the trash can icon.
