9
Click OK to return to the Change Policy window and to activate the schedule.
10
Select the Clients tab from the Change Policy window.
11
Select the machine name where the Recovery Manager Backup Server component is
installed.
12
Click OK to confirm the client setup.
NOTE: Recovery Manager supports full backups when running with a NetBackup
Master server. Recovery Manager also supports the user backup when running
with a NetBackup client machine.
NOTE: When using NetBackup with Recovery Manager for Exchange and VSS, the
NetBackup client may take an additional temporary read-only (ro) and read/write
(rw) snapshot on your base volumes. This behavior can either be ignored or
turned off by disabling the Windows Open File Backup in NetBackup.
NOTE: If you plan on backing up multiple Mailbox Databases using NetBackup
and Recovery Manager for Exchange, you need a different policy for each storage
group that will be backed up at the same time. For example, if the first backup of
Mailbox Database One has not yet completed, in order for the backup of Mailbox
Database Two to be performed correctly by Recovery Manager for Exchange and
Netbackup, it must use a different policy.
