Migration plans will be automatically created 30 minutes later than the specified sampling
term. For example, if you specified 13:00–15:00 for the sampling term, plan creation will be
performed at 15:30.
9. Click the Close button to close the Auto Plan window.
NOTE: Plans are executed from the top of the list downward when XP Auto LUN performs auto
migration.

To delete all auto migration plans, click the Delete All button.

To delete an auto migration plan, select the plan in the list, and then click the Delete button.
Remaking Auto Migration Plans
If auto migration operations did not produce enough improvements in disk access performance,
you can discard the current migration plans and make new auto migration plans.
To make new auto migration plans:
1. If necessary, do the following:
•
Change the limit on disk usage rate for HDD classes. For details, see “Changing the
Maximum Disk Usage Rate for Each HDD Class” (page 56) .

Change parameters in Auto Plan Parameters. For details, see “Setting Auto Migration
Parameters” (page 56) .
2. In the Auto Plan window of the XP Auto LUN window, click the Make New Plan button.
All existing auto migration plans are deleted and new auto migration plans are created.
3. Click the Close button to close the Auto Plan window.
Viewing the Migration History Log
The History window of XP Auto LUN displays logs of auto migration operations and manual
migration operations.
To view migration logs:
1. Start XP Auto LUN to open the XP Auto LUN window.
2. Click the History tab of the XP Auto LUN window.

To view logs of auto migration operations, look at Auto Migration History. For information
about messages that might appear in Auto Migration History, see
Table 15 (page 58) .
•
To view logs of manual migration operations, look at Migration History. For information
about messages that might appear in Migration History, see
“Messages in the Migration
Logs (displayed in the Action column)” (page 65) . In Migration History, logs of auto
migration operations are also displayed.
NOTE: Messages in the History window may not be arranged in the order that corresponding
events take place.
