Indicates the average usage rate for the parity group.
If an exclamation mark (!) is displayed, the reported usage rate is likely to be inaccurate,
because the volumes may be moved by XP Auto LUN or formatted by Virtual LVI or Open
Volume Management.
If a plus mark (+) is displayed before 0, such as +0, the usage rate is not 0, but it is less
than 1.
Ave. (%)
Indicates the maximum usage rate for the parity group.
If an exclamation mark (!) is displayed, the reported usage rate is likely to be inaccurate,
because the volumes may be moved by XP Auto LUN or formatted by Virtual LVI or Open
Volume Management.
Max (%)
Indicates the capacity of the pool related to the XP Thin Provisioning virtual volume.
The indicated pool capacity might be bigger than the LDEV capacity of the XP Thin
Provisioning virtual volume. The maximum possible capacity of the used pool is 42 MB
larger than the LDEV capacity. This is because the size of each page of a pool used by
XP Thin Provisioning is 42 MB. To verify the data size of the volume and whether a
manual migration can be completed, you must confirm the data size based on the
indicated pool capacity related to the virtual volume.
Used Capacity
Indicates the pool ID related to the XP Thin Provisioning virtual volume. Pool ID
Indicates the remaining capacity of the pool related to the XP Thin Provisioning virtual

Indicates the capacity of the pool related to the XP Thin Provisioning virtual volume. Pool Capacity
The following are volume icons, contained in parity groups, external volume groups, and XP
Thin Provisioning virtual volume groups, that can appear in the tree.
The volumes contained in an external volume group are called external volumes. In the tree
of the Manual Plan tab, volumes in a parity group and external volumes are expressed by the
same icons. Also, the volumes contained in an XP Thin Provisioning virtual volume group are
called XP Thin Provisioning virtual volumes. In the tree of the Manual Plan tab, volumes in a
parity group and XP Thin Provisioning virtual volumes are expressed by the same icons.
Volume icons:
◦ indicates a normal volume that can be migrated to a different parity group but cannot
be used as a migration destination.
◦ (blue) indicates a reserved volume of XP Auto LUN. This volume is reserved as a
migration destination by XP Auto LUN.
When you specify a source volume in the Manual Plan window, XP Auto LUN checks
these reserved volumes to find volumes that can be used as target volumes. If XP Auto
LUN finds a reserved volume that can be used as target volumes, XP Auto LUN changes
the volume icon to .
◦ (green) indicates a reserved volume of other programs. This volume is reserved by a
program other than XP Auto LUN; therefore, XP Auto LUN cannot operate on it.
◦ indicates a volume that can be used as a migration destination.
◦ indicates a volume that is being migrated, or a normal volume that is registered in a
migration plan. A volume that is being migrated by a program other than XP Auto LUN
is also indicated by this icon.
, (blue), (green), and . Among these icons, you can specify as a source
volume.
