4. Type defrag drive: for the same disk. For example, for drive C, type
defrag c: .
Follow the displayed instructions to optimize the disk you’re cleaning up.
5. Exit DEFRAG, then type win to restart Windows.
Repairing a Disk

To optimize the use of space on a disk, click Start, Programs, Accessories,
System Tools, Disk Defragmenter.

To find or repair errors on a disk, click Start, Programs, Accessories, System
Tools, ScanDisk.
To delete a set of OmniBook files
If you need to make more disk space available on drive C, you have the option of
removing certain sets of OmniBook files.
Deleting OmniBook Files
Click Start and HP User Tools, then on the Advanced tab click Uninstall.
1. In Program Manager, double-click the OmniBook Tools icon (in the Main group).
2. Click Uninstall.
3. Select the set of files you want to remove from your OmniBook.
4. Choose Uninstall to delete the selected files.
–or–
Choose Close to close the dialog box without deleting files.
Restarting the OmniBook
In certain situations you may want to restart the OmniBook. For example, you may have
made a change in a system file and now want to make that change active—so you need
to “reboot” the OmniBook.
Under certain unpredictable conditions, the OmniBook may unexpectedly get stuck in a
state where nothing seems to work—so you may need to reset the OmniBook.
