SYNTAX
(For Exchange 2010) RMExch rcstatus -mdb
<[-query]|[<-update> [-t -ts -status

(For Exchange 2007) RMExch rcstatus -s -g
<[-query]|<-update> [-t -ts -status
]]> [-domain ]
DESCRIPTION
The RMExch rcstatus command will display or update status of the Remote Copy operation
history for periodic mode volume groups.
PARAMETERS
The following options are supported:
•
(For Exchange 2010) -mdb - The name of the mailbox database to
which the virtual copy timestamp belongs.
•
(For Exchange 2007) -s - Exchange server for which storage group
belongs.
•
(For Exchange 2007) -g - The storage group of the virtual copy.
•
-update - Update the status of Remote Copy history for a specific timestamp.
•
-query - Query Remote Copy history for specified storage group.
•
-t - The timestamp of the virtual copy.
•
-ts - The target host to update the Remote Copy status record.
•
-status - The status to save in record.
•
-domain - Optional. Specifies the domain to which the Exchange server
or mailbox belongs.
If this option is not specified, Recovery Manager for Exchange uses the local domain.
NOTE: The -update option without timestamp and host will update all periodic mode Remote
Copy records from the original target server.
NOTE: Use quotes ("") where spaces are included.
Examples
(For Exchange 2010) The following command updates the status of an existing Remote Copy status
history for the specified host.
RMExch rcstatus -mdb mb2 -update -t 050106113456 -ts Grampus -status
Success
(For Exchange 2007) The following command updates the status of an existing Remote Copy
history for the specified host.
RMExch rcstatus -s bottlenosed -g sg2 -t 050106113456 -ts Grampus -status
