Suggestion:
You may not have permissions for the specified mailbox database/storage group or the mailbox
database/storage group is absent.
Problem:
When using Symantec NetBackup, you see this message: 0x1: ERROR: Cannot connect to [NBU
server name]; socket error.
Suggestion:
Check whether you are using a different version of the NBU master server and the NBU client. If
so, upgrade the NBU client to the same version as the NBU master server.
Problem:
The setup.exe asks to uninstall 3PAR VSS 2.1.0 provider or 3PAR Inform CLI 2.3.1 or both while
these are supported as per configuration matrix. The installer does not provide an option to install
HP 3PAR Recovery Manager Software for Exchange 4.3.0.
Suggestion:
Run RME_2k8_x64.msi directly from folder \HP3PAR\RecoveryManagerExchange.
Problem:
Auto restore fails at mount occasionally.
Solution:
Check if SAN policy is set to "Shared all" or "Offline All". Please change SAN policy to "Online
All' and rerun the task. To change SAN policy:
1.
Open MS-DOS Prompt.
2.
Run diskpart.exe.
3.
Enter san policy=”onlineall”.
An output displays DiskPart successfully changed the SAN policy for the
current operating system
