Configuring the ATP6100 Line for SWCI
Communications
The SWAN and SWAN 2 concentrators use an asynchronous ATP6100 line to provide
communications between SWCI running on the primary and backup nodes and a
switch module. If the ATP6100 line is not already configured, perform the following
steps at both the primary node and backup node.
1. Use HP TSM to check the configuration of the EtherNet 4 ServerNet adapter
(E4SA) and the SWAN or SWAN 2 concentrator. If TSM shows a configuration
problem, refer to the following:
•
For information about configuring an E4SA, refer to
Ethernet Adapter (E4SA)
Hardware Installation and Support Guide
and
LAN Configuration and
Management Manual
.
•
For information about configuring a SWAN or SWAN 2 concentrator, refer to
the
SWAN Concentrator Installation and Support Guide
or
SWAN 2
Concentrator Installation and Support Guide
,
WAN Subsystem Configuration
and Management Manual
, and
WAN Wizard User’s Guide
.
2. Create a PATPTERM profile.
The required values for the device and the interface type for the ATP6100 line are
included in the PATPTERM profile.
