Switch Protocol Error Messages
Recovery. Do the following:
1. Check the configuration of the switch module device and reconfigure if necessary.
2. Check the version of SWCI installed.
3. Power the switch module device off then back on again.
Cause. The response message type received from the SCC for a switch command is
not valid for the type of switch command sent. The
type may be any of the following:
Effect. SWCI does not work properly.
Recovery. Do the following:
1. Check the configuration of the switch module device and reconfigure if necessary.
2. Check the version of SWCI installed.
3. Power the switch module device off then back on again.
Cause. The response message received from the SCC in response to a switch
module temperature query does not contain valid temperature data.
Effect. SWCI does not work properly.
Recovery. Do the following:
1. Check the configuration of the switch module device and reconfigure if necessary.
2. Check the version of SWCI installed.
3. Power the switch module device off then back on again.
***PROTOCOL ERROR*** SCC response message: unexpected
response type.
