Extended Remote Mirroring Configuration
Figure 2-3 shows a Nomadic disk system configuration with a single processor
enclosure that mirrors internal disk drives at distances beyond the five kilometer
cabling limit of the previous configurations. Fiber-optic cabling to the backup site
containing the mirror disk drives can extend up to 40 kilometers.
