Use the WBEM settings to create access to SIM. Select the “Update values for this
protocol” checkbox, and use the “Use values specified below” radio button. It is not
necessary to enter the port number. Supply the user name and password of the
owner of the agent process running on this particular system. Please make sure to
NOT use credentials as “root” in the username/password field. After adding all this
information, click the “Run Now” button from the bottom of the page. For more
details on how this works, please refer to the SIM user manual or online Help,
section on setting protocols for a system or groups of systems.
