It is also important to note that if the Threshold Notification Methods are not set, they
will be set to the default settings and only the Console notification will occur. Even
though the default settings have email as the method of notification, no alert will be sent
out without an email address added to the Email box. Similarly, if the SMS radio button
is selected, no SMS text alert will be sent out without a valid phone number and service
provider. The figure below is the alert settings. Note that the emails and SMS text
number must be added to the right text box using the >> button. The SMS text MUST
be the phone number only.
