Agent Startup

In order for the Linux agent to collect data, it needs to be started up and running.
To startup the Linux agent, follow these steps:

1. Start up the license handler module by going to /var/www/html/simagent-

0.1/license

directory and executing ./licensehandler.sh

2. Startup the authorization module, PAMAuth by going to

/var/www/html/simagent-0.1/pamauth

directory and executing ./pamrun.sh.

3. Start up the collator by going to /var/www/html/simagent-0.1/collator

directory and executing ./Collator.sh.

4. Lastly, the collector needs to be started by going to

/var/www/html/simagent-0.1/collector

directory and

executing ./Collector.sh.

The Linux agent components need to be started up in this order: license handler first,
followed by pamauth second, then by the collator third and then lastly the collector
in order for everything to run correctly.

If the agents have started correctly, the agents running should look like the following.
In order for SIM to collect Linux data, the agent will need to be kept running,
meaning three terminals must be open; one for the license handler, one for pamauth,
one for the collator, and one for the collector.
