the user will need to login to SIM and use the top SIM Menu: Configure -> NonStop
Cluster Essentials -> Refresh PE...
to sync up these modifications. [Note:
After the refresh is complete, the status icons in the PE Column for the SIM
Homepage are cleared. On retrieving information from the nodes, the status icons
are displayed. This may take a couple of minutes depending on the task interval].
After this is completed, the performance task scheduler will automatically start up.
Because the scheduler runs every minute collecting performance data from each
agent, the performance data recorded in SIM displays a frequency of every minute
rather than every 15 seconds by default as displayed in the configuration settings.
When the interval rates between the agents and SIM are different, the
interval
between the values displayed on the graph will be the larger interval rate. By default,
agents refresh rate is 15 seconds, while the SIM task’s is 1 minute. Hence in the
default setting, the interval between the values will be 1 minute.

Quick Install Guide
To install Performance Essentials SIM plug-in, follow this quick install guide.
1) Log in to the system which will act as the CMS as Administrator.
2) Make sure that SIM is running by attempting to launch it. If SIM is not

4) Run the PE SIM plug-in installer (pe-sim-setup.exe), providing a valid
