4.3. Performance Essentials SIM Plug-in Install
4.3.1. Instructions and Requirements
Please refer to Hardware and Software Requirements for required hardware and
software.
PE SIM plug-in installer is a self-extracting installation wizard. This simple wizard will
ask for the SMTP server settings (SMTP Host, SMTP User Name, and SMTP Password)
which are each limited to 50 characters in length. On the next couple of pages, it will
install necessary files on the CMS with user’s final approval and create necessary
database. The wizard will restart HP SIM at the end of the installation.
