1 - 7 INTRODUCTION
Back light color shows the MFC status
The LCD back light will change color depending on the MFC status.
LCD MFC status Description
Off
Sleep Mode The power switch is off or the MFC is in
Sleep mode.
Orange
Initializing The MFC is being initialized after you
switched it on.
Warming Up in
Sleep mode The MFC is warming up for printing in
Sleep mode.
Menu in Operation The Menu is in use.
Receiving Data
from the Computer The MFC is either receiving data from the
computer, processing data in the memory,
or printing data.
Data Remaining in
Printer Memory Print data remains in the MFC memory.
Green
Warming Up The MFC is warming up for printing.
Ready The MFC is ready for use.
Receiving Fax
Data The MFC is either receiving fax data,
processing data in memory, or printing
data.
