Installing the optional memory board
WARNING
■
DO NOT touch the surface of the main board within 15 minutes
after turning off the power.
■
Before installing the optional memory board, make sure there are
no faxes in the memory.
■
Do NOT unplug any internal connectors.

Disconnect the telephone line cord and handset curled cord
from the MFC, turn the MFC power switch off, unplug the MFC
power cord from the AC power outlet, and then disconnect the
interface cable.
WARNING
Turn the MFC power switch off, before installing (or removing) the
memory board.

Remove the side cover. Loosen the two screws, and then
remove the metal shield plate.

Unpack the DIMM and hold it by the edges.
