Advisory Defib
The Advisory Defibrillation settings control functions related to performing defibrillation with
an R Series unit in Advisory mode and include:

Energy Level: Shock 1

Energy Level: Shock 1
This setting allows you to select the energy level used for the first shock delivered by the
defibrillator when the unit is:
•
in AED mode or Advisory mode and using pads
•
in Manual mode, using external paddles or pads
Energy Level: Shock 1 is the energy level to which the unit defaults when you power on the
unit with external paddles or pads connected.
Values are as follows:
Possible Values:
Adult: 1-10, 15, 20, 30, 50, 75, 100, 120, 150, and 200 J
Default:
Adult: 120 J
