Installation on a Trend System
2 INSTALLATION ON A TREND SYSTEM
The Trend NX drive must be installed in a vertical position. It can be mounted
on a wall or in an enclosure using four screws or bolts. The cooling airflow to
the drive must not be blocked in any way; recirculation of air inside the
enclosure should be avoided.
The following tables give clearance and cooling air requirements:

Key:
A: free space on both sides of
drive
A2: clearance needed on both
sides of drive for fan change
(without disconnecting motor
cables).
B: distance between two drives or
distance to cabinet wall
C: free space above drive
D: free space below drive (350*
refers to minimum distance for fan
change)
If several units are mounted above
each other the required space
between them equals C+D. Also
the outlet air used for cooling the
lower unit must be directed away
from the inlet air to be used by the
upper unit.
