The gradient valve in the quaternary pump has drawn excessive current
causing the electronic fuse to open.
Probable Causes
•
Defective gradient valve.
•
Defective connection cable (front panel to LPM board).
•
Defective LPM board.
Suggested Actions
❏ Restart the quaternary pump. If the error message appears again, exchange
the gradient valve.
❏ Exchange the connection cable.
❏ Exchange the LPM board.
