EXAMPLES OF MLP-DRIVE
APPLICATIONS
Figure 1-1 is an example of a Master mode of operation for a pump application. The
scaling format allows the operator to enter a setpoint in Engineering Units of gallons per
minute. The MLP-Drive compares the sensor shaft feedback to the scaled setpoint and
calculates any speed error. When the MLP-Drive finds speed error, the control
algorithm adjusts the drive output and reduces the error to zero.
