2.6 EDH4 Optional Equipment

Installation Details
External temperature probe
Insert the temperature probe into the EDH4 interface cable.
AC input voltage sense
If using an AC transformer to monitor the AC input, connect it to the mating connector on the interface
cable and plug the transformer into a 120V outlet within the power supply cabinet. The transformer can
only be used for 120V, 60Hz systems.
Additional battery strings
The EDH4 can directly measure up to four battery strings simultaneously.
To add battery strings, follow the installation procedure for the applicable power supply.

The Lectro CPR Power Supply requires the Alpha Level 2 CPR interface card with the DB-9 serial port
to support the ability to be interfaced with an EDH4 transponder. If the CPR does not have the Level 2
interface card with DB-9 serial port, please consult Alpha Technologies, Inc. for other possible monitoring
options.
The supported CPR power supply parameters:
• Inverter Status
• Input Voltage
• Output Voltage
• Output Current
• Total String Voltage
• Individual Battery Voltages
• Remote Self Test Capable (1 minute duration)
