Device List Page
The Device List page will display. This page lists all of the VN-Matrix 300 codecs and
decoders that are present on the network.
Device Type
Three types of device may appear in the list
z 3G-SDI — A codec that is licensed to operate at all resolutions up to and including the
3G-SDI standard.
z
HDSDI — A codec that is licensed to operate at all resolutions up to and including the
HD-SDI standard.
z SDI — A codec that is licensed to operate at resolutions up to the SDI standard.
Device Mode
VN-Matrix 300 Devices are listed in one of three modes:
z As an Encoder
z Undefined
z As a Decoder
The mode for each device may be set as required.
Note that the VN-Matrix 300 is also supplied as a decoder only option. In this case the
source (encoder) mode is not available to be used.

NOTES:
• Only devices that are configured to connect to the system controller will be
listed.
• The list may show more devices than you have in your system. This is because
the controller will maintain a list of devices that have been used in the past
and are not currently available. In this case, the IP address entry for that codec
will be blank.
