quick setup menu is available for the modes flow, level and

pressure, leading you through the most important basic functions.

F

or level measurement, the three level modes are also available "Level

Easy Pressure", "Level Easy Height"

and "Level Standard". For the

level mode "Level Standard" you can choose between the level types
"

L

inear", "Pressure linearized" and "Height linearized". The chart in the

following chapter "Overview level measurement" gives an overview of
the different applications.

W

ith the level modes "Level Easy Pressure" and "Level Easy Height"

the entered vaues are subjected to a lower scope of tests than with the
level mode "Level Standard". For the level modes "Level Easy
Pressure
"

and "Level Easy Height" a min. distance of 1 % must be

maintained for the entered values for EMPTY CALIB./FULL CALIB.,
EMPTY PRESSURE/FULL PRESSURE, EMPTY HEIGHT/FULL
HEIGHT

and SET LRV/SET URV. If the values are too close together,

the values will be denied with a message. Further limit values are not
checked, i.e. the entered parameters must fit the sensor and

application so that the measuring instrument can carry out a correct
measurement.

T

he level modes "Level Easy Pressure" and "Level Easy Height"

comprise less parameters than the mode "Level Standard" and is used
for quick and easy parameter adjustment of a level application.

C

ustomer-specific level, volume and measuring units or a linearisation

chart can be only entered with level mode "Level Standard".

I

f the instrument should be used as part system in a safety function

(SIL),

an "Instrument parameter adjustment with increased parameter

adjustment reliability" (group SAFETY CONFIRM) for mode "Level" is
only possible for the mode "Level Easy Pressure". After adjustment of
a password, all previously entered parameters are checked. If the
mode "Level Easy Height" or "Level Easy Pressure" was selected
