Proceed as follows to prepare for the actual adjustment:
1 F ill the vessel to just over the lower tap.
2 F ill measuring system with medium.
O
pen valve A: Medium flows in.
3 V ent instrument
B riefly open valve 6, then close it: Fill the measuring instrument
completely with the medium and remove air.
4 S et measurement loop to operation
N ow:
V alve B and 6 are closed
V alve A open
5 C arry out adjustment, see end of chapter "Level measurement"
VEGADIF 55 is used in all versions for level measurement in closed
vessels.
Note:
VEGADIF
55 in cell isolating diaphragm version is immediately ready
for operation.
VEGADIF 55 in flange version: After opening a probably existing block
valve, the instrument is ready for operation.
B efore you adjust VEGADIF 55 in basic version, you have to clean the
effective pressure lines and the instrument must be filled with the
medium.
