Replacing the
Toner Cartridge
and Cleaning
Felt
A Toner Cartridge will print approximately 12,000 pages of A4 or 8.5 x
11 paper under average operating conditions (5% image area coverage).
The number of prints per cartridge will decrease if you routinely:
•
Print dense text and graphics.
•
Adjust the Print Density to a dark setting.
•
Exceed five percent area coverage.
Replace the Toner Cartridge as soon as you see the following message at
the Control Panel display:
Toner Low
The Supply indicator light will also glow.
When you replace the Toner Cartridge, you should also replace the
Cleaning Felt with the spare provided in the new Toner Cartridge kit.

Cartridge.
Caution
Do not expose the Photoconductor / Drum to direct sunlight or
artificial light for more than 15 minutes. Overexposure will
permanently damage the photosensitive imaging drum.
