1.

Remove power from the FCO: first turn the power switch off and then remove the
power cord.

2.

Remove power from the TLS: first turn the power switch off and then remove the
power cord.

3.

If the FCO is connected the FC host or Hub, disconnect it.

4.

Disconnect any SCSI cables (SCSI 1 and SCSI 2) from the rear of the FCO.

5.

Disconnect the cable from the serial port or Ethernet connectors on the FCO, if
connected.

6.

If the FCO is mounted in a rack, cabinet or other location detach it and it will be
ready for packing.

Packing the Fibre Channel Option

1.

Using the packing material that came with the FCO, place the FCO into the
shipping carton and seal with shipping tape.
