Setting the machine to be Checked
by Phone
The Remote Test feature allows your machine to be checked out
by a service company at a remote place by phone.
1 Press Menu/Exit and then Maintenance from the one-
touch dial keypad.
2 Use or until “REMOTE TEST” appears on the bottom
line of the display, and press Mode/Enter.
3 Press or to change the setting.
Select “On” to enable this feature. Selecting “Off” disables
this feature.
If you want to protect your machine from being opened by
an unauthorized person, select “Off”.
4 Press Mode/Enter to save the selection.
N OTE : This feature is not available in some areas.
