G.1.4 Creating a Loadable Prerecorded Tones File
For detailed information on the PRT file, refer to Section 7.2 on page 137 .
To create a loadable PRT dat file from your raw data files, take these 7
steps:
1. Prepare the prerecorded tones (raw data PCM or L8) files you want to combine into a single
dat
file using standard recording utilities.
2. Execute the TrunkPack Downloadable Conversion utility, DConvert240.exe (supplied with
the software package); the utility’s main screen opens (shown in
Figure G-1 ).
3. Click the Process Prerecorded Tones File(s) button; the Prerecorded Tones File(s) screen,
shown in
Figure G-3 , opens.

4. To add the prerecorded tone files (you created in Step 1 ) to the ‘Prerecorded Tones’ screen
follow one of these procedures:
Select the files and drag them to the ‘Prerecorded Tones’ screen.
