About the Network Interfaces
The Sun Fire V490 server provides two on-board Ethernet interfaces, which reside on
the system centerplane and conform to the IEEE 802.3z Ethernet standard. For an

FIGURE 2-4 . The Ethernet interfaces operate at 10
Mbps, 100 Mbps, and 1000 Mbps.
